Cookies and the banner record
This page describes the records this website places on your browser. It was last updated on 20 September 2026. The privacy notice is at /privacy/.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so a later visit can be recognised. Browsers also offer local storage, a separate place on the device for a short text record. This site uses local storage for the banner choice described below.
Essential and analytics
Essential records remember a choice you made, such as whether the banner should stay closed. Analytics records would measure how pages are used. Reason Waypoint uses one essential record. Analytics cookies are not placed by this site.
Records stored on this site
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| reasonwaypoint-cookie-consent | Stores the word accept or reject so the banner stays closed after you choose. Held in local storage on your browser. | Until you clear it, or for about one year when the studio next revises the banner | Reason Waypoint |
Third-party cookies
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. That request is made to Google's font service and is subject to Google's own policies. The studio does not set advertising cookies and does not embed a marketing pixel.
How to manage or disable them
Use Reject on the banner if you do not want the consent record kept. You can also clear local storage for this site in your browser settings, usually under privacy, site data, or cookies and other site data. Blocking local storage, or browsing in a mode that forgets the session, means the banner will appear again on the next visit.
If you clear the record
The sittings, field notes, fees, and contact form keep working. Clearing the record only brings the banner back. It does not delete an enquiry you already sent; that is handled as described in the privacy notice.
